Eclipse Phase Gear

With my conversion notes i think it’s pretty easy, but to be precise i’ve converted some EP gear. Costs as per the EP core book.

Remember, for character creation you spend dice: d6=1, d8=2, d10=4, d12=4, So a D10 gun costs 3 dice. SFX is worth an extra dice.

All Gear has the Gear limit.

Melee Weapons

  • Diamond Ax d8
  • Knife d6
  • Monofilament sword d8, SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 1.
  • Vibroblade d8
  • Extendable baton d6
  • Shock Baton d6, SFX: Afflict. Step up stunned complication by 1.
  • Monowire Garotte d10. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 2.
  • Cyberclaws/Bioware Claws d6
  • Shock gloves. (no dice) SFX: Afflict. Step up stunned complication by 1.
Kinetic Weapons, Firearms
All have the Area Affect SFX.
  • Light Pistol d6
  • Medium Pistol d8.
  • Heavy Pistol d8. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 1.
  • Submachine Gun d8.
  • Automatic Rifle d10, SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 1.
  • Sniper Rifle d12, SFX: Penetrating. Target steps down any armour by 2.
Firearms can use special bullets, here are a selction:
Armor Piercing – SFX: Target steps down any armour by +1 (so 1 becomes 2)
Hollow point – SFX: Damage. Step-up physical stress by 1.
Proximity smart bullet – SFX: Roll two dice when firing this weapon.
Kinetic Weapons, Railguns
All have the Area Affect SFX.
  • Light Pistol d8
  • Medium Pistol d8. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 1.
  • Heavy Pistol d10. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 1.
  • Submachine Gun d8. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 1.
  • Automatic Rifle d10, SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 2.
  • Sniper Rifle d12, SFX: Penetrating. Target steps down any armour by 3.
Beam Weapons
  • Laser Pulser d6. SFX: Afflict. Step up stunned complication by 1.
  • Particle Beam Bolter d8.
  • Plasma Rifle. d12. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 2.  SFX: Damage. Step-up physical stress by 1
Spray Weapons
All have the Area Affect SFX.
  • Shard Pistol d6. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 2.
  • Shredder d8. SFX: Penetrates. Target steps down any armour by 2.
Armor
Armor Clothing d6
Armor Vest d8
Body Armor (Light) d10
Body Armor (HEavy) d12
Combat Armor d12
Spray Armor d6
Battle Suit: Durability d12, Strength d10, Senses d8
