A Team-up Post. Fire and Ice tend to work as a pair. I wasn’t aware until Mika pointed out the Fire Picture in DCA Heroes & Villains 1, and i read the new JLI 1 on the same day…Coincidence? So We have the Brazlian Bombshell and the Norwegian Icemaiden…

Pyroplasmic Form
Intangibility d8

Fire Blast d8
SFX: Area Attack. Target multiple opponents. For every additional target, add d6 to your pool and keep +1 effect die.
SFX: Flame Aura. On a successful reaction against a physical attack action, inflict physical stress with your effect die at no PP cost or step up +1 for 1 PP.
SFX: Immunity. Spend 1 PP to ignore stress or trauma from fire, heat, cold and physical Stress not caused by energy.
SFX: Multipower. Use two or more Pyroplasmic powers in your dice pool, at –1 step for each additional power.
Limit: Doused. Shutdown all Pyroplasmic powers vs. Strong water attack and gain 1 PP. Recover power by activating an opportunity or during a Transition Scene.
Limit: Flaming Heart. When Pyroplasmic form is shutdown, if take emotional damage, Pyroplasmic form will activate and gain 1PP if not intended.

3 xp…Put self in harm’s way to protect a younger or less powerful character
10 xp…Stressed out when protecting another, or let them fight for themselves and they are stressed out.

SFX: Ice Snare/Icy surface. Add a d6 and Step up effect die to inflict snared, immobile or slippery complications.
SFX: Create Ice. Add a d6 and step up effect die to create ice-based assets.
Limit: Conscious Activation. If stressed out, asleep, or unconscious, shutdown Cryokinesis. Recover Cryokinesis when stress is recovered or you awake Acrobatics Expert, Mystic Expert, Ice Combat expert

*Fire’s form is actually fire so she is insubstanital, unlike the Human torch.

    I wanted to do Fire and Ice myself, but never had the time.
    These are quite excellent. I would not change a thing.
