Having read the other blood of books and ARG i was pretty excited by the prospect of blood of elementals. Shame it has very little new crunch, instead filling half the book with info on the planes. Anyway, i still think the geniekin races are great, especially for an arabian setting. So here are my conversions for 5E geniekin, as usual adapted to fit 5E spells as needed. As usual if you don’t like something change it!!

All the main 4 races get elemental affinity. When the character casts a spell that matches their element they can choose one of the following bonuses:
- count as 1 level higher
- + half proficiency bonus to attack roll
- + half proficiency bonus to spell DC
- + half proficiency bonus to damage roll
Ability scores : +2 Dex, +1 Cha
Size: Medium
Speed: 30ft
Darkvision: 60 ft.
Energy Resistsance : Fire
Spell-like ability : Can cast Burning Hands once per day. Cha is the caster ability.
Elemental Ability : Fire. Applies to all spells which involve fire or cause fire damage.
Languages: Can speak, read and write common and Ignan.
Ability scores : +2 Str, +1 wis

Energy Resistsance : Acid
Armoured : gain +1AC natural armour bonus.
Elemental Ability : Earth. Applies to all spells which involve earth, stone or cause acid damage.

Negotiator: Gain proficiency in insight or persuasion.
Elemental assault. Once per day at the start of your turn a Suli can shroud their arms in acid, cold, electricity or fire. This lasts for 1 round per level. Unarmed strikes with hands or with weapons in those hands deal +1d6 damage of the chosen energy type. This increases to 1d8 at level 6, 1d10 at level 12 and 1d12 at level 18.
Languages: Can speak, read and write common and one of Ignan, Auran, Terran or Aquan.

Awesome! I love the suli race, just some suggestions, if I may. You could make the elemental assault once per short or long rest and the upgrades of it the same levels as the dragonborn breath weapon (6th, 11th and 16th)… and maybe instead of changing the dice, just add 1d6 each time (2d6/6th, 3d6/11th and 4d6/16th) 🙂
